Employee Personal Development

  • Go to the left-hand menu and click on ‘Tasks’.
  • The drop-down menu will display ‘Create New Task’ and ‘Tasks’. Select ‘Create New Tasks’.
  • This will take you to a New Task page. Select a client from the ‘Select Client’ drop-down box and Client Staff from the ‘Select Client Staff’ drop-down box who want to carry out Employee Personal Development (if your company wants to carry out Employee Personal Development, create a Client in your organisation's name and Client staff from your Users and select these when choosing a client and client staff).
  • Select ‘Create Task’.
  • This will take you to the New Task for (Client Staff) page. Select ‘Employee Personal Development’ from the ‘Select Task’ drop-down box and click the ‘Add Task’ button.
  • This will display fields to fill out regarding the Employee's information and details of the training. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom right of the page.
  • This will take you to a page informing you that your task has been created successfully. This will update the workflow status to ‘Details of Training Opportunity’. Then click the ‘View Task’ button at the bottom right of the page.
  • Towards the bottom of the page there is a blue ‘Assign Manager’ button, click on this. A pop-up window will appear, whereby you can choose from a list of Users to assign to approve the ‘Employee Personal Development’ task. Once a user has been chosen, click the ‘Assign Manager’ button at the bottom right of the pop-up window. This will update the status of the workflow to ‘Manager Approval’.

  • If the Manager approves of the training, they can go to the Task page and click the green ‘Approve Training’ button. This will update the workflow status to ‘Approved/pending’. If the Manager does not approve the training, they can provide details in the box provided and click the red ‘Deny Training’ button. This will update the workflow status to ‘Training Denied’ and will close the task.

  • If the training was approved by the manager, the status will automatically change to ‘Training in Progress’ when the Training is scheduled to be. If the training is missed or c, provide details on the task page in the box provided and click the red ‘’Training Cancelled/Missed’ button. This will update the status to ‘Training Cancelled’ and the case/task will close.
  • Once the training is completed, the status will automatically update to ‘Employee Review’. The Employee who did the training needs to provide feedback on the task page, in the boxes provided, and click the save button. On completion of this feedback form, the status will change to ‘Complete’.
