We always strive to meet current Internet best practice and relevant applicable regulations. Livepoint Software Software Ltd is a Data Controller for the purposes of data protection and privacy.

Our services are designed to give you the information that you want to receive. Our privacy policy below explains how we will collect and use the information you give us. We may vary this policy from time to time and the current version will be that published on this site. Collecting your information

From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address etc.) in order to receive or use services on our website. These services include newsletters and competitions, live chats and message boards and personalised services.

We will also need personal information in order to supply other products and services or to help us identify you when you contact us. When we collect this information we will only do so over a secure connection. If you communicate with us by email over the Internet you should be aware that the nature of the Internet is such that unencrypted communication may not be secure and may pass through several different countries on route to us. Informing you about products and services

We offer software products, such as SwiftCase workflow management system. By providing us with your contact details when enquiring, we will contact you, by the details provided, to answer your enquiry or provide you with a quotation or requested service. This processing of your data comes upon the legal basis of a contract, which also includes taking steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract.

If you provide us with separate consent to being reached by mail, telephone, fax, email, or SMS/MMS we may let you know about any goods, services or promotions of our own, which may be of interest to you. This processing of your data comes under the GDPR legal basis of consent. We will not pass any of your information on to third parties, without gaining additional and specific consent for these purposes.

You can, of course, withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us to let us know, or by using relevant links to any online unsubscribe services provided by us.

By submitting data to us, you give us consent to use your sensitive personal data solely for the purposes for which you submit it.

How we collect information about your visits to our websites

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling of your data. Your data is not transferred outside of the European Union.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services of ours which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date. We will not share your marketing information with third parties.

How long we keep your data

We will keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details), along with consent provided by you for 5 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. This service is free of charge although if deemed to be excessive then an administration charge may be applied. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. Users aged 16 years and under

If you are 16 or under you must have permission from a parent or guardian before you give us personal information. If we find that we have received information from you without the appropriate consent, we reserve the right to cancel all transactions and services and remove all personal data that you have supplied. You will be able to re-submit the information when you have the required permission.

What is a cookie?

What is a web beacon?

Some of our web pages may contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes known as clear gifs) that allow us to count users who have visited these pages. Web beacons collect only limited information that includes a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides. These beacons do not carry any personally identifiable information and are only used to track the effectiveness of our site or particular campaigns.
