Workflow Builder – Workflow Configuration

Workflow Builder Overview

The Workflow Configuration is the first panel on the Workflow Builder. In here you can configure the following

  1. Name
  2. Description
  3. Cost/Price of carrying out task
  4. Heritability of questions
  5. Listings view configuration
  6. Search Panel configuration (but not the quick search)
  7. Overview Tab configuration

Task Settings

The basic settings of a workflow are entered here, with Name and Description being self explanatory.

Show Costs & Fees Section on Task?

The Costs and Fees section is a panel at the bottom of a task as below:

Checking this option will give you a powerful way to keep track of any costs associated with performing a task. You can choose a default Price and Cost, but you can also configure a specific cost to a client by visiting the Workflow Configuration panel on the client profile.

Time Required/Time to Keep Provisional

These options are enterprise level options only. Please contact us for more information.

Update parent task answers?

When creating this workflow as a Child Task you may want any shared questions between the tasks to only update one entry in the database (e.g an option that could change frequently such as an appointment date/time). This prevents shared information slipping out of sync.

Customise Listings

You can customise a large part of SwiftCase. This section allows you to customise what you see on various pages related to the Workflow

List Columns

Here you can configure exactly what information will be displayed on the dashboard listings page for this particular workflow. The above configuration will display the Summary, Email Content and Solution  questions and the Client/Client Staff names on the listings.

Search Fields

Here you can configure exactly what fields will be available on the search panel on the dashboard for this particular workflow.

The above configuration will display the Summary, Solution  questions and the Client/Client Staff fields for searching on the listings (in addition to the default options) as below:

Here you can configure exactly what fields will be available on the search panel on the dashboard for this particular workflow. Visit the Overview Tab page for more information
